Alun Morgan is a photographer from South Buckinghamshire. He has been a member of the Urban Photography Club since the early days, having retired as a university lecturer in 2020. Alun loves the complete ‘randomness’ of street photography, with the almost limitless variety of people, characters, and settings.
He says he sometimes struggles with the ethical dilemmas of photographing people in public without their consent, but over the years he is reconciled to this and appreciates the value of engaging with and recording the ever-evolving urban environment, despite the many thousands of images that never see the light of day!
