Urban Lives 2027:
The Urban Photographers Club
Cities are shaped by the people who live in them, and by the countless small moments that unfold on their streets every day.
Urban Lives brings together 40 photographers from the Urban Photographers Club community to explore the richness and diversity of city life around the world. With more than 200 photographs spanning street, street portraiture, urban architecture and documentary photography, the exhibition captures fleeting moments, unexpected encounters, quiet observations and the everyday rhythms of urban life.
From the hustle of capital cities to the slower pace of small seaside towns, each image offers its own view of how we live in, move through and connect with the places we call home. Together, they form a collective portrait of contemporary city life.
Every photographer submitted up to 12 images, and the final selection was made by a panel of award-winning photographers and respected industry experts: David Gibson, Dawn Eagleton, Dimpy Bhalotia, Ethan Parker, Melissa O’Shaughnessy and Peter Dench. The exhibition is curated by photographer Jessica Miller.
Urban Lives also reflects our commitment to nurturing new talent. Year 13 photography students from Brockhill Park Performing Arts College, together with their teacher and UPC member Elliot Masters, are taking part in the project, and their work will appear alongside the rest of the exhibition.
Join us to celebrate the people, places and moments that make our cities come alive.
